For this project, I was tasked with creating an info graphic illustrating a 5-step process without relying on text. This brought about many challenges that required careful consideration during my design process. I began the project by conducting thorough research, collecting information, and finding visual references related to the topic. After this, I moved on to brainstorming, and generating ideas for how to effectively represent each step in the process through visual imagery.
Once I had a solid idea of how I wanted to approach the design, I began sketching out my ideas, exploring different compositions, color palettes, and other visual elements. I also spent time refining my sketches and testing out different approaches to ensure that my design was clear and effective. After many iterations and revisions, I finally created a finished product that clearly communicates a 5-step process to throwing a baseball. The final product not only accomplishes the goal of communicating the process effectively, but also gives a visually appealing and engaging way, making it an effective tool for educating and engaging viewers.
Here you can see my mockup against a brick wall. I felt that this mockup fits the graphic well because brick walls are common in dugouts and gymnasiums.
